Click here for the Official Timber Rights Website The Centre for Advanced Property Economics (CAPE) is conducting the third in a series of three symposia on the valuation of Mineral, Water and Timber Rights. “Timber Valuation: Seeing the Forest for the Trees” provides an exceptional program for natural resource appraisers, practitioners, educators, government officials, attorneys, timber industry representatives, consultants and other interested individuals. The symposium will address the legal, social, economic and commercial
aspects of timber valuation. “Timber Valuation: Seeing the Forest
for the Trees” has been designed with four primary sessions on: Nine speakers will make presentations on the valuation of timber and its importance in our economy along with an emphasis on social and economic consequences of management of this valuable natural resource. “The Role in Timber Valuation in Research and Education”, “Timber and Timberland Appraisal in Litigation”, “Valuation of Timber and Timberland as a Result of Natural Disasters”, “Federal Acquisitions and Exchanges”, “Timberland Valuation for Decision Making”, “Forensic Timber Valuation”, “Tariffs, Taxes, and Governmental Regulations”, “International Issues”, and other current and topical issues are just a small part of this current and significant topical program. The registration fee for the Timber Valuation Symposium received prior
